The cables are difficult to get back in the case after delivery?
The cables are delivered in the case for ease of delivery. We recommend storing them separately in the provided bag.
How much current does this draw?
130-150amps
Can this be used with welding gas?
No. TRAILMIG’s are designed to operate in outdoors environments with fluxcore only.
Can TRAILMIG's be used with lithium deep cycle batteries?
Whilst we haven’t had the opportunity yet to test with lithium batteries, we cannot see any reason why it won’t as long as the batteries are rated for for current.
What is the duty cycle?
The duty cycle is effectively 100% or until the batteries are flat. Depending the condition of your batteries, we recommend 1 minute rest for every 3 minutes of welding.
Does the TRAILMIG come with warranty?
All TRAILMIG’s come with a 24 months warranty on parts and workmanship.

The idea for TRAILMIG originated from a personal experience of being stranded without a welding method for my vehicle. Stranded on the side of the road with my trusty Jeep dog for the night, I pondered how different things could have been if I had access to a MIG welder.
In the following weeks, I researched the welding equipment available in the Australian market and realised that none of them met my requirements. This sparked the creation of TRAILMIG, and the journey to provide reliable and durable off-road welders to the Australian market began, culminating in the birth of TRAILMIG.
